1987, translated by Dai Cong, published by Baihua Literature & Art Publishing House, titled Golden Rose. After the new translation appeared, Dai Cong mailed a copy to scholar Liu Xiaofeng. Liu later published “Our Generation’s Fear and Love—Revisiting The Golden Rose” in the June 1988 issue of Dushu.
